Welcome to this weeks latest installment of See You Next Tuesday where the Lazy Oaf team fill you in on the things that have caught our eye or got us talking in the office over the past 7 days. This week we're loving the illustrations of Zhi-Yun Zhang, wanting white Miista moon boots and anticipating the re-release of Carrie.   1. INTERNET SENSATIONS: Draw it like Drake. What do you get when you cross your favourite cartoon characters with your favourite musicians? These illustrations by Zhi-Yun Zhang, that's what. A freelance illustrator and design student from Germany, Zhi-Yun's work has provided us with endless entertainment this week with highlights including Drake as Millhouse and A$AP Rocky as Stewie from Family Guy. See more on his Facebook page. 2. FOOD FAVOURITES: Skeleton sushi. After blowing the majority of our wages on YO! Sushi's Blue Monday offer last night, it is safe to say we have sushi on the brain. And just recently we have noticed that it's not enough to simply roll your favourite vegetables and raw fish into rice and slice it, now it's all about turning it into something special. Hello Kitty seems to be a popular design but it was the skull head above that did it for us. We're totally recreating this for our Halloween party. 3. WINDOW SHOPPING: You Miista bit. We have been obsessing over London shoe label Miista ever since our friend showed us their website last year and their collections have continued to go from strength to strength. This week their space age Virginia zip up boots have really got us wanting to wear white head to toe like Love Aesthetics does so well. Best avoid eating tomato soup that day, or eating anything at all knowing our track record... 4. MEDIA MATTERS: Carrie does coffee. There is no better way to promote a film than pulling a giant, and pretty god damn scary, publicity stunt. The Last Exorcism did it spectacularly when they scared people with a possessed girl on Chatroulette and now, video marketing company Thinkmodo have gone one step further in anticipation for the Carrie remake released later this month. With the help of some convincing special effects and a team actresses/actors, they made Carrie come to life in front of the unsuspecting victims of a New York City coffee shop. Watch this video and remind yourself of why real life special effects are much better than CGI. Â
