Lazy Guide to Brighton
E A T T H I S :
Cin Cin is a fairly new addition to Brighton & Hove’s dining scene. It serves Italian food with a twist, over the intimate bar counter or in a more private setting at the back of the snug restaurant. Menus change often, but always have vegetarian and vegan options. The focaccia bread is a must to start your meal, served sliced with olive oil for dipping. The food is prepared in the open kitchen, and every portion is perfectly balanced to allow enough space for a starter, main and dessert.
Lunch Tue - Sat: 12:30-3:30pm

Japanese restaurant serving tapas-like dishes, many of which are vegetarian, and wonderfully crafted drinks. Have fun ordering as much as you can, and be surprised by what comes your way.

The North Lanes area is the perfect spot for a good shopping session, but one road in particular - the North Laine - is the best place to go to find local and quirky shops, as well as lots of vegan cafés to take a break in between purchases.
Some of the best known shops in the area are Family Store, for a cool selection of clothing, accessories, music and comics; and Snoopers Paradise - which is just a few steps away - in which you can lose yourself in, looking at all the seemingly infinite items displayed in the maze-like layout.

Formerly the residence of King George V, the Royal Pavilion is a breathtaking building right in the middle of the city centre. The construction begun in 1786 in Indo-Saracenic style, and on the interior you can spot multiple details of Chinese influence.
Photos aren’t allowed inside, but I highly recommend paying the ticket to wonder around this unique building, and stand in awe whilst looking at the Banqueting room and the Music room. If you are short on time, do take a moment to just sit in the gardens, feed the squirrels and listen to the live music to soak in the fairytale atmosphere.
Open everyday from 10am - 5.15pm

Brighton Palace Pier
Head over to Brighton beach to look at the stunning Brighton Pier rising above the water, with its arcade domes and mini amusement park at the far end.
Grab some sweet by the entrance (the doughnuts are a must - but watch out for the seagulls!), admire the view over the city and the beautifully eerie skeleton of the West Pier, and of course have a good time on the rides!
Open 7 days a week
