In 2001, Lazy Oaf was birthed into the world by Gemma Shiel, into a North London garage specifically, before taking its first tentative steps out in public at a market stall in Spitalfields alongside some old pornos because you know, sex sells? Fast forward 20 years and we've survived floods, fires and a global pandemic. We have two stores in London and over a million strong community of loyal fans and customers from around the globe. As a brand, Lazy Oaf celebrate the not normal in all of us. We have a wry sense of humour and we like to take risks and carve our own path. We do what feels right to us and don't march to anyone else's tune.
Are you a big fan of everything Oaf and want to be part of our growing retail team?
We are looking for a reliable, outgoing person with flexible availability to join us at weekends in our two London stores in Shoreditch and Soho.
You will be joining a diverse and energetic retail team of creative brand ambassadors who share our values and are just as comfortable styling looks and shelves and creating store content as they are interacting with customers.

The Ideal Candidate

- You are passionate about the brand and people
- You have an outgoing personality and take pride in making each customer’s shopping experience memorable
- You’re not afraid of the challenges presented in a fast-paced retail environment
- You can make decisions and use common sense under pressure
- You are IT literate (Excel) and familiar with the use of a Mac.
- Interest in graphic design, illustration, fashion styling, and visual merchandising is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Be a Lazy Oaf Brand Ambassador
- Educate customers on the brand, collections, and styles in store
- Assist customers in finding the right item(s) for them
- Visual merchandising support
- Stocktake support
- In-store content creation
