Pet Pals

When life is all a bit wonky-donkey, there's nothing like the company of our furry friends to make us feel better. So today we’re giving you the chance to get to know our Oaf Pets Pals as we spent the day documenting their every move on our phones. From dogs and cats to rabbits and guinea pigs, find out what’s keeping our animals entertained during lockdown.

BREED: Miniature Schnauzer

LIKES: 

• Roast chicken

• Sheep poop

• Balls

• All the bitches...

DISLIKES: 

• Seagulls, well any other animal really

• Skateboarders

• Dogs on telly

• Cuddles

KEEPING ENTERTAINED DURING LOCKDOWN: 

Walks with my hoomans. I am particularly invested in making sure there is a ball near them at all times just in case they want to play. I also try to give them pedicures to make sure they relaaaaax, they don't like it though.

OAF OWNER: Kassy

BREED: Miniature Dachshund

LIKES: 

• Banana & cheese

• Beethoven Symphony #9 

• Tummy rubs

• Being told I'm a good boy

• Blankets

DISLIKES: 

• Long walks 

• Children

• Not being given enough snacks 

KEEPING ENTERTAINED DURING LOCKDOWN: 

Having daily sunbakes between 10:30 & 11:30, constantly asking my parents to sit on their laps & chasing squirrels in the park.

BREED: Tom Cat

LIKES: 

• Meat & fish

• Head strokes

• Chasing around a toy caterpillar on a fishing rod

DISLIKES: 

• Foxes

• Belly strokes

• Fruit & vegetables.

KEEPING ENTERTAINED DURING LOCKDOWN: 

My owner is at home a lot more which means I spend half the day trying to get her attention so that she'll feed me, and the other half avoiding her by sunbathing in the plant pot in the front garden and keeping an eye on my local rivals.

BREED: Malcolm: I'm a Cinnamon Rabbit, making me a cinnamon bun!
Dewey: I'm a Netherland Dwarf Rabbit

LIKES: 

• Breakfast, especially kale

• Chewing through cables

• Sunbathing

DISLIKES: 

• The hoover

• Being brushed

• Mani / pedis

KEEPING ENTERTAINED DURING LOCKDOWN: 

Catching up on chewing the books we’d always wanted to chew and snuggling together for at least 4 hours a day.

NAME: Hello! My name is Peanut

OAF OWNER: Juliette

BREED: I am an American Guinea pig, born and raised in SE London.

LIKES: 

• Rustley bags (including envelopes)

• Mint/span>

• Drinking juice from any glasses that get put down while the humans are sunbathing

DISLIKES: 

• When aforementioned rustley bags do not have food in them

• The tumble dryer

KEEPING ENTERTAINED DURING LOCKDOWN: 

My daily routine starts with my morning nuggets (I only eat the ones with mint and refuse all other brands), followed by either a bit of breakfast banana (from my mum's muesli) or some leafy greens. I then wheek very loudly for more food while my mum does her Joe Wicks, and then I get to go out in the garden. I own 51% of this garden, so I must check (read: eat) every single plant or seedlings that I come across. I skip around the garden for most of the day snoozing in flower beds and climbing into the greenhouse when no one is watching. In the evenings, I come in and get a nice snack, I prefer green beans the most. I then spend the rest of my evening curled up in my fuzzy tube sleeping like a little furry croissant.
