Rekorderlig Presents: The Winter Forest Bar
This month our friends at Rekorderlig Cider have transformed London's Truman Brewery on Brick Lane into a beautifully Swedish winter forest complete with fully grown pine trees and wild foliage and last night we got to attend the launch. With dim lighting and misty fog, entering this pop-up bar really did feel like stepping into a real-life forest and definitely made a nice change from hanging out in the local pub. We spent the evening sampling an array of Rekorderlig's finest flavours as we have never tasted them before. Our favourites were the Amareko Sour cocktail and warm Winter Cider (see below). We also got to try out some classic Scandinavian tapas dishes by Norse by Norswest including elk sausage rolls and Swedish meatballs. The Rekorderlig Winter Forest Bar is open to the public from Friday 26th October - Tuesday 6th November from 12-4pm then 6-12am. Submission is £5 but we're giving 3 lucky people the chance to win a pair of tickets for this weekend in our competition over on Twitter - @lazyoaf.
We took advantage of the ambient lighting and Rekorderlig fleece blankets with these eerie photos inspired by our favourite alien E.T.
Our Flower Dotty Mini Rucksack tried to camouflage amongst the foliage.
