Spring Edits: Veronika Vesper

This Spring we spent the day hanging out with singer and ultimate cyber babe Veronika Vesper who let us know what designs she was loving from our latest Spring collection. With the help of stylist Alexis Knox, photographer Melanie Elbaz joined us to shoot Veronika in her favourite looks from the range amongst the setting of Hackney's Glasshouse Salon and Platform Bar. Where are you from?       Space. You? I heard that humans are recycled stardust. What do you like about London?     It's a hub for creative people. It's cool, free and diverse. Also I indulge in shit weather….joke! Describe a typical day in your life…  Being awoken at 10am by a hot guy bringing me breakfast, just after that my make-up and hair stylist turns up, I put on some wonderful laser outfit on by Hussein Chalayan, then a limo picks me up to go to see the stadium I'm performing in the eve…we stop by the beach for a bit…….and then I wake up and it's 7am and I go to gym and then to the studio or a meeting or rehearsal or a photo shoot and I dream and dream and dream…living the dream. Who is your fashion idol? Lara Croft.  Generally action movie characters and japanese manga.  Although my costumes resembled them way before I knew about certain comic book characters like "Ghost in the shell" and so on.  Bjork could be one of my fashion idols too. I love graphic, visual non-outfits and ridiculously impractical clothes. I'm looking for new fashion designers to work with who are up for all this fun! How do your clothing and music relate? They compliment each other. I try to enhance my music through my outfits. For example my stage outfits are dark or light at the moment, because that's the theme of my album. I wear one or the other depending on which songs I'm performing. Talk us through some of your favourite pieces from today's shoot.  I like the elegant cut and a cool, fun, carefree message of the Pizza My Mind Top. The Zippity Top/Jalapeno Skirt is effortless, elegant, sexy and lady-like with a light approach. It's perfect to show off your curves on a hot summer date without looking "try hard". What are your plans for spring?   I'm very excited about our new video for FTHEEGO which is coming out this week!
